Maxillofacial and Reconstructive Surgery Department
Maxillofacial and Reconstructive Surgery Department provides advanced approach in care for the adults and children with problems that include face, head and neck in accordance with the world’s standards. Accurate and objective data from diagnostic studies, such as CT scan combined with 3D imaging, help us to provide effective treatment. The team of our department works in collaboration with all ENT departments. It helps to determine the exact diagnosis and prescribe optimal treatment for adults and children.
We perform:
- Microsurgical repair of facial soft tissue defects (free revascularized autoplastic graft);
- Maxillofacial microsurgery reconstruction (free revascularized autoplastic graft);
- Zygomatico-nasofrontal-orbital complex posttraumatic deformation repair, including upper face/midface posttraumatic defects;
- All kind of osteotomy, including multiple segment osteotomy of maxillary mandibular osteotomy associated with orthodontic interventions;
- Treatment of temporomandibular joint, including art lavage, unilateral/bilateral ankyloses without bone grafting, combined gnathic repair;
- Face contour changing orthognathic surgery;
- Benign maxillary/mandibular osseous tumor removal combined with the defect repair plasty;
- Excision of oral benign neoplasms with pedicle/free flap transplantation;
- Mandibular and maxillary neoplasm removal with simultaneous defect repair-plasty (free revascularization autoplastic graft);
- Removal of juvinal skullbase angiofibroma;
- Total auricular defect plasty ( autoplastic grafting, grafting and implantation, with composite exoprosthesis supported by endosseous implants);
- Auricular reconstruction for microtia and macrotia;
- Surgical repair of hard palate and alveolar process ( major defects), residual palate defect plastic repair;
- Rhinoplasty for congenial nasal clefts;
- Cheilorhinoplasty including primary plasty, surgical repair of upper lip and nose cicatricial deformity with local tissues after prior cheilorhinoplasty, primary and secondary cleft cheiloplsty;
- Uranoplasty ( major defects);
- Total and subtotal parotidectomy with preservation of facial nerve branch;

ANESTHESIOLOGY AND REANIMATION DEPARTMENT
Anesthesia service includes medical evaluation prior to intervention, pain treatment during and after intervention and follow-up of all vital functions by the experienced anesthesiologist’s team. It also covers any anesthesia practices within surgical disciplines, including analgesia and seduction in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, outpatient surgery anesthesia for children and adults.
Special attention is paid to postoperative analgesia and multimodal treatment strategies for postoperative pain. It helps to minimize the risk of complications during surgery and reduces the length of stay in hospital.
Anesthesia practices and services successfully fulfilled by our specialists and include:
- General anesthesia using a cuffed endotracheal tube with throat packing
- Local anesthesia
The operating theatre consists of 12 operating units, including 2 integral operating module OR-1. Reanimation unit has 12 beds, equipped with modern monitors, oxygen inhalators, defibrillators and lungs ventilators.

Diagnostic radiology department
Experienced radiologists provide accurate and objectivity of data for effective treatment. We use only safe and noninvasive research methods with digital equipment. The experts of radiology department work together with doctors and surgeons in all departments of our Center, the right radiological diagnosis helps to determine the exact diagnosis and prescribe optimal treatment.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) –advanced noninvasive medical test or examination that uses a large magnet and a computer to take pictures of inside of your body. It has more space for the patient to help with the claustrophobia.

Computer Tomography ( CT Scan)- noninvasive medical test that uses special X-ray equipment with sophisticated computer to produce multiple images or pictures of the inside of the body, joins the images together in cross-sectorial and 3-D views.

Department of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology ( ENT)
The Department of Pediatric otorhinolaryngology offers comprehensive diagnostic and advanced treatment services for children from 6 months to 18 years of age with disorders of the ear, nose, throat and related structures. Our team is concerned with medical and surgical treatment of all kind of ENT pathology. We provide multidisciplinary care and treatment working closely with audiologists, CT- and MRI experts, otoneurologists, phoniatricians and other specialists.
The Center’s outpatient office is equipped with the up-to-date diagnostic equipment and devices such as rigid and fibroptic endoscopy, microscopy and other diagnostic tools.
The team of certified physicians performs:
- Endoscopic microdebrider adenoidectomy;
- M icrodebrider tonsillotomy and tonsillectomy;
- Tympanostomy;
- Functional endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery ( rare and unique techniques);
- Surgical treatment of congenital anomalies of sinonasal region (choanal athresia, severe congenital septum deviations);
- Surgery of congenital tumors (gliomas, dermoids, meningoceles, haemangiomas, etc.);
- Treatment of nasal septal deviations even for infants;
- Reconstructive nasal surgery for patients after treatment for congenital craniofacial anomalies (lip and palate cleft and others);
- Surgery treatment of nasal septum perforations, including lesions after aggressive foreign bodies, trauma;
- PFAPA-syndrome;
- Treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis for patients with cystic fibrosis and primary ciliar dyskinesia;
- CO2-Laser and diode laser surgery of congenital laryngotracheal malformations (glottic membranes, laryngomalacia);
- CO2-Laser surgery of recurrent laryngeal papillomatosis;
- Treatment of acquired laryngotracheal stenosis (endolaryngeal and open approach);
- Treatment of head and neck benign tumors.
Our otology microsurgery team performs :
- Cochlear implantation for infants and children;
- Surgery treatment of cholesteatoma;
- All types of middle ear reconstructive surgery;
- Congenital external and middle ear malformations rehabilitation;
- Bone conduction hearing aid implantation and etc.
Children requiring surgical treatment are cared for in our operating room by pediatric anesthesiologists and pediatric nurses who are skilled in pre- and post-operative management of children undergoing surgery. The pediatric department has 26 beds suitable for full day staying with mother/father/caregiver. It also has a lot of toys, videos and reading materials. We try to do our best to create a comfortable and nonthreatening environment for small patients.
